Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

What are the lease terms?

We offer leases for 6-12 months, or 3-5 month leases with an increased rent

What does it cost to move in?

You are responsible for pro-rated rent, our pro-rated bundle, and your deposit.

Are utilities included in the cost?

They are not. You pay for water and sewer in addition to your rent each month, and electric and gas payments are made to CSU.

What's your pet policy?

Do you require apartment renters insurance?

Yes, we do with at least $100,000 in liability.

How do I pay the rent?

You can pay rent with a cashier's check, money order, or online.

How are repairs taken care of, especially in an emergency?

Is there public transportation nearby?

Yes, we are located close to Metro Public Transit.

How often does rent go up? By how much?

We reserve the right to increase your rent after each lease term.

What is the parking situation?

All parking is first-come, first-serve. We charge $135 per month for a detached garage and $150 per month for an attached garage.

Is there a penalty for breaking my lease?

Yes, we require a 60-day notice to vacate, and a lease buyout fee of 1.5 times the monthly rent.
